Blue Brick Partners was founded in 2015 by James Williamson as a staffing entity for the multi-family space but after a successful exit in 2016 from the first venture, James pivoted to venture capital and private equity and never looked back.
James Williamson
Principal at Blue Brick Partners and Chairman of the Board
With over a decade of construction and property management experience, James created Blue Brick Partners as a staffing company for the apartment industry. It has since become a premier investment company for a variety of investment classes and diverse industries. James sought to solve problems and increase efficiency in each endeavor. With an eye for detail and a penchant for finance, he creates the financial models and determines business viability, go to market strategies and product design.
James’ first love will always be real estate as he has since transitioned to a proptech company as an employee for design and implementation of a series of software solutions. Although this takes up a significant portion of his time, Blue Brick continues to rely on him for insight as investment opportunities present themselves.
